Searching for Sioux Falls Soup Can Assault Suspect
Just when you thought there were no new ways to use a can of Cream of Mushroom Soup? According to KSFY TV Sioux Falls Police are searching for a man suspected of an assault with a can of soup.
The suspect is accused of hitting a man in the head with a soup can during an attempted robbery.
Sioux Falls Police Public Information Officer Sam Clemens said the incident happened Saturday around 3:30 p.m. in the parking lot of McDonald's on North Cliff Avenue.
Apparently the soup assult took place as a man was getting into his car. He was approced by the suspect who allegedly came up and hit the victim in the head several times with a can of soup. He attempting to take his wallet but was unsuccessful and then ran off without it.
The suspect is described as an older white man, about 5'10" with a medium build and balding. Its reported that the victim received no serious injuries.
