Santa Has Come to Town! Jolly Old St. Nick is Back at The Empire Mall
He's getting ready to make a list and check it twice, and something tells me he's also checked into which hotels in Sioux Falls are naughty and nice.
Santa's back in town. Yeah, I know, we haven't even carved the Thanksgiving Day turkey yet, but, that hasn't stopped Kris Kringle from setting up shop again in the Empire Mall.
Dakota News Now is reporting that Santa officially arrived at the Mall on Friday, (November 15) and will take up residency there through Christmas Eve.
The Santa Photo Experience is open daily through Christmas Eve for you and your family to enjoy. The Mall highly recommends families make reservations to ensure you and the kiddos get a photo opp with Jolly Old St. Nick.
According to Dakota News Now, Santa will also be available this holiday season during the following events:
- "Pet Photo Day" on Saturday, (December 1) from 6:30 -7:30 PM.
- "Caring Santa Day" is a day set aside exclusively for children with special needs. It will be held on Sunday (December 8) from 9:00 to 10:30 AM. Reservations are required.
- "Cookies and Cocoa with Santa" on Saturday (December 14). From 11:00 to 1:00 PM, families can enjoy holiday crafts, games, gift bags, hot cocoa, cookies, and photos with Santa.
Shoppers might also run into the Jolly one hanging around the "Children's Inn Gift Wrap Booth" in the Macy's Wing, along with the "Salvation Army Giving Angel Tree", and the "Volunteers of America Giving Tree."
