It seems like just about everyone these days is caught up in taking "selfies."

Even President Obama and Vice President Biden are getting into the selfie action. They  recently posted a selfie of the two of them riding in the presidential limo.

Miley Cryrus, the queen of the selfie, just snapped a few creepy selfies of her in the bathtub. Like we really needed to see those right?

People are snapping selfies doing just about everything imaginable.

I've seen selfies of people hanging off the side of skyscrapers, pulling out their own teeth, covering themselves in chocolate syrup, getting chased by a bull and even snapping a shot of themselves getting into a car accident.

The internet is littered full of selfies of people doing things that, well,  I can't mention in this story.

It seems like women are especially fascinated with the selfie. So much so, that according to a new survey, it is now estimated the average woman will spend 753 hours of her life taking, retaking, filtering and posting selfies. That works out to one full month of your life that is devoted to taking photos of yourself.

That of course is assuming from this point forward, you plan on taking photos of yourself until you die.

People are also caught up in making their selfies look the best they possibly can. The study found the serious selfie takers are now using tricks like, soft mood lighting, shooting from a downward angle, using a slim body pose and Instagram filters to make their selfies look fabulous!

I don't know about you, but I'm sooo ready for the next fad please!
