New Meat Market Opens Second Location in Small Iowa Town.

A new meat market store is opening up a second location just southeast of Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

According to Dakota News Now, Jordan's Meat Market celebrated the grand opening of its second location in downtown Le Mars, Iowa on Tuesday, April 1.

The new store drew a large crowd of supportive customers eager to welcome the expanding business.

Owner Jordan Marks launched his first market in Marcus, Iowa in the summer of 2023.

They offer approximately 150 different products and provide comprehensive meat processing services for beef, lamb, hogs, and seasonal deer processing.

The decision to expand to Le Mars came in response to community demand for a dedicated meat market.

Unlike the original location, the new Le Mars storefront focuses exclusively on retail operations, with all butchering continuing at the Marcus facility.

Marks expressed gratitude for his family's support, acknowledging their essential role in making this expansion possible just over a year after opening his first location.
