Nationally, 88% of U.S. adults plan to shop between Thanksgiving Day and Cyber Monday, and Minnesotans are expected to follow suit.

This translates to approximately 235 million Americans hitting stores and websites in search of deals.

The economic impact will be substantial, with projections showing over $127 billion in total spending across the five-day shopping marathon.

The average person plans to spend $542 during this period, indicating that consumers are willing to open their wallets for holiday purchases and doorbuster deals.

What's particularly interesting is the shopping format preferences. While online shopping continues to grow, traditional brick-and-mortar stores remain dominant, with 83% of shoppers planning to visit physical locations.

This suggests that despite the convenience of e-commerce, many consumers still value the in-person shopping experience, browsing aisles, comparing products firsthand, and enjoying the festive atmosphere.
