Minnesota Beats Iowa & South Dakota For ‘Best States for Nurses’
There are lots of nursing professionals across Minnesota, Iowa, and South Dakota. But a new study says Minnesota rewards its nurses better than the neighboring states of Iowa and South Dakota.
I think we all really gained a heightened appreciation of Doctors and Nurses during the pandemic.

Nurses deserve all the appreciation and compensation possible for the work they do.
But a new study out from WalletHub finds that some states treat nurses better than other states.
WalletHub has come out with a list of 2023’s Best & Worst States for Nurses.
They compared the 50 states across 20 key metrics that collectively speak to the nursing-job opportunities in each market.
Here are Top-10 “Best” States for Nurses:
1-Washington
2-Maine
3-New Mexico
4-Oregon
5-New Hampshire
6-Minnesota
7-Montana
8-Arizona
9-Texas
10-Wyoming
Iowa came in #24 on the list while South Dakota took the number #27 spot.
Here are 10 “Worst” States for Nurses:
