The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration recently announced several significant recalls affecting over 270,000 Ford and Lincoln vehicles.

These safety notices include popular models like the F-150, Bronco, Expedition, and Navigator.

Ford Expedition & Lincoln Navigator (2022-2024)

  • Issue: Potential brake line leaks caused by contact with the engine air cleaner outlet pipe
  • Cause: Front brake lines possibly bent during engine installation at Ford's assembly plant
  • Resolution: Free inspection and replacement of brake lines or air cleaner outlet pipes as needed
  • Owner notifications scheduled for May 26

Ford F-150 (2025 Models)

  • Issue: Loose steering components that could lead to loss of steering control
  • Cause: Improperly attached lower intermediate shaft fasteners connected to the steering gear
  • Resolution: Free inspection and replacement of affected fasteners
  • Nearly 9,200 vehicles affected
  • Owner notifications scheduled for May 26

Ford Bronco (2024 Models)

  • Issue: Malfunctioning child safety locks on rear doors
  • Cause: Left rear door can be opened from inside even when child lock is activated
  • Resolution: Free inspection and replacement of rear door latches as necessary
  • Approximately 2,000 vehicles affected
  • Owner notifications expected May 26
