Listening To The Radio Is Monster Big With Gen Z!
If you dig listening to the radio, you are not alone! A new study reveals that radio is experiencing a big revival, with Generation Z leading the charge.
Generation Z, or "Gen Z" (also known as Zoomers), refers to individuals born between 1997 and 2012.
Gen Z, a generation raised on digital streaming, say they are embracing traditional radio in a big way.
A report from The Standard shows that an impressive 78% of Gen Z'ers are tuning into A.M. and F.M. Radio...not internet slop like Pandora...but good old-fashioned broadcast radio.
The "London Evening Standard" even declared that radio is "back" and that Gen Z is fundamentally changing media consumption habits.
Why the comeback? It seems many young people are experiencing digital fatigue.
They're turning away from endless digital options and finding comfort in analog technology with local voices.
While only 48% watch traditional TV weekly, radio has maintained its cool factor and relevance.
In 2025, radio isn't just surviving - it's thriving!
