
Kristi Noem Cracking Down On Dog Abusers
Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem, the former Governor of South Dakota, has joined forces with some of the nation's top officials to take a stand against dog welfare violators.
According to Dakota News Now, Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins, Attorney General Pam Bondi, and Secretary of Health and Human Services Robert F. Kennedy Jr. have partnered with Noem to launch a crackdown on those who fail to provide humane care for animals across the country.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture is targeting breeding facilities with repeat violations.

To date, the USDA has revoked licenses from six dog breeders cited for failing to meet basic humane care standards under the Animal Welfare Act.
These aren't first-time mistakes; they're patterns of neglect that have finally caught up with the offenders.
In a move that invites everyday Americans into the process, the USDA has also issued a Request for Information, opening the floor for public input on current dog treatment standards.
