Smoken Dakota Kennels isn't just a great place to take your pup for a day of "Splash Barkin' fun. A place where they can get wet, have treats, run around, make new puppy pals, all while you enjoy an adult beverage, a snack, and watch all the crazy antics!

It is also a training facility offering training classes, in groups, privately, and even stay and train sessions. So obviously, Smoken Dakota Kennels knows quite a bit about problem pups.

If you've got an issue with your fur child, send us a question, and every Tuesday morning at 9:20, SDK trainer Lydia will give you valuable training advice.

Just by sending in your question, you'll win a day pass to the Splash Park and then you're qualified for the grand prize - a complete Smoken Dakota Kennels training package valued at $134.

This week's question came from Ashley Fettig. She described her adorable 8-month-old Blue Heeler/Australian shepherd mix puppy, Ellie, (in the above picture) as a devil child who is very hard to train and she's looking for some advice.

Lydia advised her to:

offer Ellie, mental, emotional, and physical stimulation, in other words- -get her engaged in a training program of some sort, make sure she knows she's loved with plenty of attention and the occasional treat, and tons and tons of activity like walks and playing in the backyard.

If you could use a training tip or two for your naughty dog, send us a question at benpattyshow@yahoo.com, right here at our website, or the KKRC mobile app.
