Enhanced Library Hours Coming To Sioux Falls Area in 2026
The new year will bring new hours to some library branches in the Sioux Falls area.
Beginning January 2nd, Siouxland Libraries is adjusting the operating hours at eight rural branch locations to better align with community usage patterns and improve service efficiency.
The updated schedule is an attempt to focus on opening during times when community members visit most frequently, while continuing to provide the Expanded Access program, which allows guests to visit library branches outside staffed hours, from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM daily at certain rural branches for maximum convenience.
