Sioux Falls Drivers Face Detours At Key Intersection This Week

Drivers in Sioux Falls are facing a couple of late-night detours this week.

What's Closed?

The City's Public Works Department says the intersection of South Cliff Avenue and East 26th Street will be closed each of the next two nights.

When?

The first closure begins at 8:00 PM tonight (Tuesday) and ends at 5:00 AM tomorrow (Wednesday). The second closure is scheduled from tomorrow (Wednesday) at 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM Thursday.

Why?

The closures will allow crews to diamond grind the concrete pavement.

Detour Information

Motorists should utilize South Ninth Avenue, East 24th Street, South Van Eps Avenue, and East 28th Street as alternate routes.
