Popular Cookie Dough Product Recalled
They are some of the tastiest creations on the planet, but you won't be able to find them on store shelves for a while.
Nestlé USA is voluntarily recalling a limited number of its Toll House Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough 'Break and Bake' Bars.
According to the U.S. Food & Drug Administration, the recall was issued due to the possible presence of wood fragments in the dough.
The recall is limited to two batches of the bars - which were produced on April 24 and 25.
The 16.5-ounce packages were sold nationwide with batch numbers 311457531K and 311557534K. Both have 'Best By Dates' of 8/22/23 and 10/23/23.
No illnesses or injuries have been reported, but consumers are still being advised not to prepare or eat the product. Instead, the bars should be returned to the retailer where they were purchased for a replacement or refund.
This recall does not involve any other Toll House products, including other varieties of refrigerated cookie dough in 'break and bake' bars, rolls, tubs, or edible cookie dough.
