Massive Winning Lottery Ticket Sold in Southwest Minnesota
Some lucky lottery player in Southwest Minnesota woke up to some life-changing news this morning.
They're about to cash in on a huge payday.
One ticket matched all five numbers drawn in Monday's (April 15) Gopher 5 drawing from the Minnesota Lottery and will claim the $1,911,615 jackpot that comes with it.
The ticket was purchased at the Food N Fuel in Worthington.
The winning numbers were 29, 35, 38, 39, and 40.

The jackpot falls just short of the biggest in Gopher 5, which was $2.01 million in November of 2014.
The jackpot now resets to $100,000.
Drawings are every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at about 6:17 PM.
