When Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees Foreigner bring their farewell tour to Iowa in 2025, they've decided to take the experience to a whole new level for one night.

The event is being billed as VIB – VERY IMPORTANT BEER at the June 26 show at the Roof Garden Ballroom in Arnolds Park. It will feature members of Foreigner, including keyboardist Michael Bluestein and guitarist Bruce Watson, who both happen to be Certified Craft Beer Servers, having recently earned their certifications after what's being called 'extensive research'.

The night will feature an intimate, acoustic sing-along of classic Foreigner songs, performed by Bluestein and Watson, along with ex-Train guitarist Luis Maldonado. The stripped-down show will also be filled with more than just music. In the spirit of craft beer, attendees will have the chance to mingle with Bluestein, Watson, and their fellow beer lovers and enjoy pints of locally brewed beer in an intimate and relaxed atmosphere.

Tickets for the show go on sale to the general public Friday (December 13).

The show is the first of three in the Hawkeye State next summer.

The next night (June 27), Foreigner plays a full concert at Arnold's Park's Preservation Plaza. June 29th they'll appear at Stir Cove at Harrah's in Council Bluffs.

Foreigner started in New York City in 1976 with guitarist Mick Jones, vocalist Lou Gramm, drummer Dennis Elliott, keyboardist Al Greenwood, bassist Ed Gagliardi, and multi-instrumentalist Ian McDonald.

The band has nine studio albums to its credit, with the first five releases landing in the Top 5, including a #1 album, 4, in 1981.

Foreigner has sold more than 80 million albums worldwide.

On the singles chart, the band has nine top 10's, including the #1 'I Want to Know What Love Is' in 1984.

Gramm left in 1990 but has appeared with the rest of the band off and on from 1992–2003. Earlier this year, Jones revealed that he had been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease years back. He hasn't toured with Foreigner since 2023.

Kelly Hansen has been the band's lead singer since 2005.
