Sioux Falls police are asking for your help in finding this missing 13-year-old boy.

The Sioux Falls Police Department has issued an alert for missing 13-year-old Tayvion Knapp.

Tayvion was reported missing on Sunday, May 4, and authorities are urgently seeking the community's assistance in locating him.

Police officers briefly spotted Tayvion on Monday near 18th Street and Sycamore Avenue, but he fled from officers when they approached.

Tayvion is described as approximately 4'10" tall, weighing about 125 pounds, with black hair.

Local authorities are asking all Sioux Falls residents to remain vigilant and to report any sightings or information that might help locate Tayvion.
