The Iowa Lottery confirms that Tammy Gordy of Ottumwa is the big winner of the latest Powerball Jackpot drawing. How did Tammy win $2 million?

This winning Iowa ticket matched all five numbers during the recent drawing. Plus, the ticket included the double power play to make more money. This ticket would have won the entire Powerball Jackpot. It was only missing the Powerball number. These were the winning Powerball Jackpot numbers from Saturday night's drawing (October 7th).

Since there wasn't a winner for the big Powerball Jackpot prize, the next drawing will be tonight Monday, October 9th. The estimated Powerball Jackpot is worth $1.55 billion. This is the third-largest prize in Powerball Jackpot history. The cash value for this prize is $679.8 million. Woah!
