Throughout the two-week donation period, Hy-Vee shoppers were given the opportunity to round up their purchases to the nearest dollar amount in an effort to help out all the victims impacted by the recent hurricane that struck Florida, Georgia, the Carolinas, and Tennessee.

According to Dakota News Now, in addition to donating a very sizeable amount of money for hurricane victims, Hy-Vee also deployed its disaster relief fleet to the Hurricane Helene-affected areas.

The Hy-Vee disaster relief team arrived in disaster areas with a large flatbed generator and several trailers filled with bottled water and various other supplies and necessities which will be given to support partners handling relief operations on the ground in the impacted areas.

Hy-Vee currently has over 285 stores throughout the Midwest in states like Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, South Dakota, and Wisconsin.
