Holiday Store on South Louise Avenue Robbed At Knifepoint Wednesday
Sioux Falls police were called to the Holiday store on South Louise Avenue shortly before 5:30 Wednesday morning for an armed robbery report.
A man wearing a bandana over his face made everyone in the store lay on the floor before he approached the clerk with a butcher knife and demanded money from the cash register.
A 17-year old has been arrested in connection with this robbery as well as the theft of beer from the same store about three hours earlier AND a car theft.
Thanks to surveillance videos and an observant responding officer on multiple calls, the boy was caught with the stolen car at a restaurant near 41st Street and I-29 and charged with: Robbery, Grand Theft-Motor Vehicle, Aggravated Assault, Petty Theft (for the beer), and Underage Consumption.
