As most of you know, I love Hanson. I've seen them four times in concert, and I only started going to shows when I was in college! I had to make up for lost time.

The guys have been busy having kids and playing gigs in all these places that weren't America, but they are finally back!

Some reactions online aren't great because the tour isn't very big and not hitting a ton of cities, but come on people! Either you love them and you go or you don't!

The tour is called "Roots & Rock N Roll."

And 'This Time Around' (pun totally intended) all their shows are two-night extravaganzas!

The first night is a concert of covers and classics that inspired the band. The kind of music that molded their creative minds! Followed by an after party with MMMHops beer and a DJ set by Taylor Hanson! The second night of shows is full of the Hanson music we know and love. Two shows! And beer! Sign me up!

The tour dates are as follows:

Wed 7 & Thu 8 Oct Chicago IL House Of Blues

Sat 10 & Sun 11 Oct Toronto ON The Phoenix

Tue 13 & Wed 14 Oct Cleveland OH House Of Blues

Fri 16 & Sat 17 Oct New York NY Irving Plaza

Mon 19 & Tue 20 Oct Atlanta GA Center Stage

Thu 22 & Fri 23 Oct New Orleans LA House Of Blues

Sat 24 & Sun 25 Oct Dallas TX House Of Blues

Thu 29 & Fri 30 Oct Portland OR Hawthorne Theater

Sun 1 & Mon 2 Nov Los Angeles CA The Fonda

Tue 3 & Wed 4 Nov San Francisco CA The Fillmore

The guys will also continue their Take The Walk Campaign, which is the band's initiative to fight extreme poverty in Africa through one-mile barefoot walks and grassroots fundraising. Walks are lead by the band, and will be held before concerts in each city on the tour.

I've participated in a few walks. They are fun, inspiring, and you literally take a walk with Hanson. It's kind of surreal for a Hanson fan like me, that I look to my right and Zac is just strolling down the street.

Even though the closest show is in Chicago, I think it would be fun to turn this two night extravaganza into a real vacation. I've never been to Portland or New Orleans. Could be fun.

P.S. Hanson will be on The Today Show on July 14th!
