Georgia Gas Station Halts All Sam Adams Sales Before the Super Bowl
A Georgia gas station has halted and banned the sale of Sam Adams beer before the Super Bowl in which the Falcons face off against the Patriots.
The gas station in Gainesville, GA decided to go with this plan after a Boston newspaper article was titled "It's hard to get pumped up about a Super Bowl against... Atlanta".
Accoroding to ESPN, the owner of the gas station had this to say about the article from Boston newspaper:
"I was already pumped that we were in the Super Bowl and matched up against living legends in Bill [Belichick] and Tom [Brady]. Then this article pops up and belittles our sports teams and fan base. I was irritated at the shots this guy took at the fan base and Atlanta as a whole."
On average, the owner of the store said that he sells about eight six packs each week.
