What You Need to Know About the Furniture Mission’s Charity Gala
When it comes to throwing a celebration, the Furniture Mission really knows how to do it! This year's event is on Tuesday evening, April 15, at the Sioux Falls Convention Center, Exhibit Halls 1 and 2. The doors open at 5, and the partying goes on until 9 PM.
This party is offering a fantastic three-course meal, the excitement and fun of game show entertainment and music from DJ Jer, and shopping. Lots of shopping!
You'll see some of the most unique furniture and decor items in the Sioux Empire. Many of them have been gently restored or repurposed just for this event. You'll have the chance to purchase these items for your home.
But the best part of this very special night is that all funds raised go towards fulfilling the Furniture Mission's goal of providing those in need with gently used furniture and household items.
Attendees leave the Gala not only inspired but empowered—knowing they’ve been part of something bigger than themselves. Because in a world where uncertainty often overshadows joy, the ChAIRity Gala reminds us all that hope can be built—one chair at a time.- Janean Michalov/Executive Director of the Furniture Mission
From single parents escaping domestic violence to veterans and individuals rebuilding after hardship, the Furniture Mission continues to grow its impact year after year.
Last year alone, the Furniture Mission served over 5,500 individuals with over 2,000 households served. And they do it all with volunteers.
As one of the only debt-free nonprofits in South Dakota, the Furniture Mission relies solely on the generosity and spirit of the community to fulfill its mission.
Each donation, each bid, and each moment at the ChAIRity Gala helps furnish more than just homes—it restores hope and dignity.
