Friedrich's Ataxia is a degenerative neuro-muscular disorder. It is estimated there are 4,000 individuals affected by Friedrich's Ataxia in the United States.

Raena Brendtro is a junior at Augustana University and she is one of the 4,000 in the United States. She started Fine Arts for Friedrich's Ataxia (FA4FA), with the support of her friends and family, as a way to bring awareness and raise money for research of this terrible disorder.

The organization is student-run and will be putting on a show this Saturday, August 7, at O'Gorman High School. There will be two performances at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.

The show will consist of local talent performing music from over 18 different Broadway musicals. There will also be informative speeches and a silent auction at intermission.

Fine Arts for Friedrich's Ataxia is hoping to raise $10,000 in tickets sales and sponsorships.

Tickets are $15 and can be purchased here. There is also an option to be a sponsor or make a donation.
