Two weeks ago (December 4) when Def LeppardMotley Crue, and Poison announced a big Summer 2020 combined tour, a lot of local rock fans were disappointed by a lack of dates in our area.

That has now changed.

The Stadium Tour, which is being billed as a Def Leppard/Motley Crue co-headling event, will now include shows in Kansas City at Kauffman Stadium, June 23, with a Minneapolis show four nights later at U.S. Bank Stadium, June 27.

Joan Jett and The Blackhearts will open the shows on the tour.

The tour will be the first for Motley Crue who famously signed a 'contract' saying they could never tour again after theIr final live show, December 31, 2015. The band destroyed that agreement a few weeks ago, clearing the way for next year's tour.

Def Leppard and Poison toured together most recently in 2017.
