Connecticut Man Goes to the Joint for Pot Found in South Dakota
A Connecticut man will be doing 75 days in the joint for getting caught transporting 25 pounds of pot in South Dakota.
KSFY TV is reporting that thirty-eight-year-old William Bradley, of Meriden, Connecticut was sentenced recently to 75 days in jail, along with five years probation all stemming from a traffic stop that happened back in May on Interstate 90.
According to KSFY TV, Bradley was pulled over by authorities for following another vehicle too close. During a search of his vehicle, a police dog helped turn up nearly 25 pounds of marijuana and more than $13,000 in cash that was hidden inside his car.
The KSFY TV report says that Bradley pleaded guilty to possessing more than 10 pounds of marijuana back in September. He was also ordered to pay a $1,000 fine as part of his sentencing.
