A Delicious Fundraiser for a Noble Cause

Love pasta? Love pups? If you do, there is an event coming up that is right up your alley. "Pawsta & Pups" is coming up on Saturday, April 18.

Dakota News Now is reporting that Big Paws Canine Foundation is holding the event along with sponsor Roy Nielson III. It is a spaghetti feed, but not just any spaghetti feed. There will be homemade sauce and homemade garlic bread; they will also have meatballs (sauce and meatballs are gluten-free), plus you can satisfy your sweet tooth by checking out the bake sale that will be going on, too.

This fundraiser is to support the mission of Big Paws Canine, which trains and donates service dogs to disabled veterans and former first responders.

There will also be a lot of veteran-owned vendors with all kinds of things and really great raffle items, too.

How to Get Involved: Buy Tickets or Make Donations

Pawsta for Pups is going on at the Tea American Legion, this Saturday, April 18, from 4 to 8 PM. Tickets bought in advance are $12 for adults. Tickets purchased at the door are $15 for adults, $12 for children ages 4-12, and free for children under 4.

You can get your tickets online right now or make a bigger donation to the foundation at the door. If you can't make the spaghetti feed, you can donate directly to Big Paws Canine Foundation online. But whatever you do, just know that you will be making life better for veterans and former first responders by helping to put one of these amazing dogs into their lives.
