You Have To Hear This Amazing Version of Marcy Playground’s ‘Sex and Candy’

I love a good cover song. When an artist can take an old song and rework it into a different style is an amazing thing. When I heard that rockers Marcy Playground are going to be at Ribfest 2017, I was reminded of this great cover of their 1997 hit "Sex and Candy" by Cassie Steele.

Cassie is a Canadian actress and singer. She played Manny Santoson Degrassi: The Next Generation. Her "Sex and Candy" sounds like an electronic, moody, bass thumper by way of Lorde. Check it out below.
