Woman Arrested for Stealing 150 Lottery Tickets from Iowa Store
The allure of money can be a very tempting, and dangerous thing.
One Sioux City, Iowa woman learned that lesson the hard way earlier this month after she took advantage of a five-finger discount from a Casey's Convenient Store.
Dakota News Now is reporting the incident took place on Thursday, (March 9) when 34-year-old Trenda Tikluk of Sioux City walked into a Casey's location at 1727 Casselman Street and stole a stack of Iowa Lottery scratch tickets.

The report states, Tikluk, entered the store and told the employee on duty that she needed to use the restroom. On the way to the bathroom, she noticed a rather large stack of Iowa Lotto tickets sitting on a desk in a small office near where the restroom was located.
Before relieving herself, Tikluk relieved the convenience store of the stack of scratch tickets in the office by hiding them in her clothing.
As Dakota News Now reports, Tikluk left the Sioux City Casey's right after the alleged snatch and grab, and immediately began to get her scratch on.
According to Dakota News Now, Tikluk scratched all of the tickets stolen, and then eventually cashed in the winning tickets.
Tikluk, ended up walking off with (150) Iowa Lottery Tickets valued at roughly $300.00.
She was arrested on Tuesday, (March 28) and is being held in the Woodbury County Jail on a charge of stolen lottery tickets, otherwise known as lottery forgery.
