My guess is, a lot of people will react to a number of items on this list, the same way I did, "But I've always kept that there!".

Some of the reasons are perfectly understandable, others are a bit more difficult to grasp, considering that your bathroom is very likely the only place you use many of these things. To add insult to injury, if you live in a very small space with a bathroom the size of a shoebox, (mhmm, I might be talking about me), your options for alternative storage places are very limited.

With that in mind, no, I have never kept books, perfume, nail polish, or jewelry in my bathroom, because there is simply no room for them! Yes, that is how small my powder room is.
