What You Need to Know About Table Ministry’s Big Chili Cookoff

There's just something about a steaming bowl of chili on a cold winter day. Just thinking about it makes me feel a little warmer and makes my mouth water. One search for chili recipes will bring you millions of ideas, some of them great, some not so great.

That is the objective of The Table Ministry's Chili Cookoff Fundraiser - - finding some really good chili. So if you think you've got a killer chili recipe, you've got to enter this contest!

The Table Ministry in Sioux Falls likes to say they meet people for worship where they are, to help with struggles, and celebrate the good times. And it just so happens that where they meet is Shenanigan's Bar twice a week. They have services on Wednesdays at 6:30 PM and Sundays at 9:15 AM.

The Table Ministry Chili Cookoff Fundraiser is coming up on Sunday, January 29th from Noon to 3 PM. For $20 you'll get 5 bowls of chili to fill you up, plus there will be cornbread and cinnamon rolls for a free will donation.

This is one great way to spend a Sunday afternoon. There'll be football on the tube, beverages, chili, and lots of laughter.
