Dakota News Now is reporting the results of a recent survey conducted by USF regarding its job placement rate. The findings showed that 99% of its graduates in 2022 either found a gig or went on to attend additional schooling within six months of graduating.
That is a pretty good-looking success rate to be able to tout.
The University of Sioux Falls President Brett Bradfield told Dakota News Now, “We are proud of our graduates and know they take both an enhanced skillset and the University’s motto of Culture for Service out into the communities they serve. USF takes pride in its prominent role in serving educational needs and contributing to workforce development in our state and region.”
Data from the survey showed that 2022 graduates ended up finding employment in 20 different states, however, 74% of those respondents reported starting their working careers by staying right here at home in South Dakota.
According to Dakota News Now, another 23% of those surveyed said they went on to continue their education in either a graduate or professional degree program.
USF received an 85% response rate to the survey sent out to its 2022 undergraduate class. That far exceeds the desired goal of 65% put forth by the National Association of Colleges and Employers.
