If you've been anywhere near Twitter in the last 72 hours, you may have seen somewhere between a few and approximately 500 tweets about Peter Kavinsky, the fictional character the internet collectively fell in love with over the weekend.

You may also recognize him as Noah Centineo, who replaced Jake T. Austin as Jesus on The Fosters for Seasons 3 through 5, but this is about Peter, he who invented the back pocket-spin, the human pillow, and the most masterful hot tub makeout maneuver you've ever laid your eyes upon. The man. The popcorn-protector. The legend.

For the uninitiated, we're talking about To All the Boys I've Loved Before, a teen romance film released on Netflix on Friday (August 17). Based on Jenny Han's 2014 novel of the same name, it stars Lana Condor as Lara Jean, a high schooler whose secret love letters somehow get sent to the crushes she wrote them for. Rather than face her feelings for one of the boys, her sister's ex, Lara makes it look like she's moved on by starting a fake relationship with Peter, who's trying to win back his ex-girlfriend by making her jealous. Based on any rom-com that's ever existed, you can imagine who things turned out, but we'll keep this spoiler free.

All you need to know is that Peter is swoon-worthy and perfect. Here's 23 tweets that prove it.
