It appears as if the luck has returned to the South Dakota "Lucky For Life" lottery ticket game.

Dakota News Now reported that the state lottery suspended the sale of Lucky For Life game tickets for a brief time on Sunday, (February 23)  due to a system error that caused tickets to display incorrect end dates in some instances.

According to the South Dakota Lottery homepage, sales for the "Lucky For Life" game have now resumed. Tickets can once again be purchased statewide at all retail locations.

The Lucky For Life game was the only South Dakota Lottery game affected by the end date error. The remaining South Dakota Lottery games and scratch tickets were not affected.

The Lucky For Life game which pays out $365,000 a year, for Life has only been won once in South Dakota, and a total of forty times nationwide since its inception.

The other version of the game which pays $25,000 a year, for life has been won 10 times in South Dakota since the game was first introduced.
