Both of our area DII college football programs had strong regular seasons, but just one of them is heading into postseason play.

Despite both programs scoring big wins over Minnesota-based NSIC squads over the weekend, neither USF nor Augustana was included in the DII Top 25 this week.

Both the Augustana Vikings and the USF Cougars suffered close conference losses on the road over the weekend.

It was a split result in NSIC action for our two area DII College Football programs on Saturday, as Augustana picked up a big home win, while USF suffered their first loss of the season.
