The Marvel Netflixverse is dead.

In a surprising move, Netflix has axed ‘Luke Cage’ while a third season was in development.

Netflix has some *huge* releases planned for the rest of the year.

The superhero drama returns to Netflix on June 22.

The announcement of Disney’s inevitable streaming service raised a number of questions on the TV side, including whether Marvel series would follow their movie counterparts in leaving Netflix. The six Defenders series now seem likely to remain in their original home, however, according to comments from Netflix Chief Content Officer Ted Sarandos.

This week we got our first real look at a move and a TV show that I have been looking forward to since they went into production.
