Last month, Sanford Sports announced that while the free youth sports camps would remain, the Legends for Kids Banquet would be coming to a close after 25 amazing years.
There will be no Legends for Kids Banquet or Golf Tournament this Summer in Sioux Falls. That announcement was made in conjunction with a plan for the future of similar events, as well as the future of free youth sports clinics on Thursday morning.

Last year's 'Legends for Kids' banquet, auction, and charity golf tournament was a record breaking one, raising over $290,000 and bringing the running total of the grants given out to over 3.1 million dollars.
This year was no different as the Hy-Vee Sanford Legends for Kids events were tremendous and they raised a record amount to donate back to the community.
The 2022 Hy-Vee/Sanford Legends for Kids events and banquet is right around the corner and there is a change to the list of sports celebrities that will be attending.
