Legends For Kids

The Hy-Vee/Sanford Legends for Kids Banquet returns to the Sanford Pentagon in early June.

Hall of Fame second baseman Ryne Sandberg, who played 15 seasons for the Chicago Cubs, announced on Instagram that he has been diagnosed with metastatic prostate cancer and has begun treatment.

The HyVee/Sanford Legends for Kids banquet and events have been a huge part of our community since they started back in 2005.

Last year's 'Legends for Kids' banquet, auction, and charity golf tournament was a record breaking one, raising over $290,000 and bringing the running total of the grants given out to over 3.1 million dollars.

This year was no different as the Hy-Vee Sanford Legends for Kids events were tremendous and they raised a record amount to donate back to the community.
