A familiar fixture is back on the streets of downtown Sioux Falls after being gone for three years.

The SuFu Tractor has made its return!

First, you should know the SuFu Tractor is not your granddad's tractor wagon; it's an open-air party on wheels every Friday and Saturday on the streets of downtown Sioux Falls.

Dakota News Now is reporting that the SuFu Tractor is available to be rented out by both individuals and groups.

SuFu Tractor co-founder, Tanya Harder told Dakota News Now, “We are an open-air party trailer that goes on a tour of downtown Sioux Falls. It’s a non-stop 90-minute tour, we go all through downtown to see all the highlights of our beautiful downtown area while listening to fun music, singing, dancing, we play games, have a few beverages, and enjoy the outdoors in the summertime.”

The SuFu Tractor party wagon could be seen cruising the streets of downtown Sioux Falls every weekend until the summer of 2022, then suddenly it disappeared!

What happened?

Strange story. As you know, vehicles require a license to be driven on streets, roads, and highways. Well, the state is no longer issuing plates to tractors. Harder told Dakota News Now, it was a challenge they needed to figure out how to overcome. They discovered a workaround this past winter, and now the SuFu Tractor is back and ready to party!

How many people will the SuFu Tractor hold?

It can comfortably hold up to 25 people, and it's much more than just a ride through the downtown district of Sioux Falls.

As Harder told Dakota News Now, “We have a couple of bars, one in the front, one in the back. We have a sound system. We have a lighted dance floor that runs down the middle. There are benches along the sides if anyone wants to sit, but of course, we encourage everyone to get up and dance and have a good time."

This party wagon is perfect for birthday parties,  bachelorette parties, weddings, celebrating a divorce, you name it.

According to Dakota News Now, Harder plans to keep the SuFu Tractor on the streets of downtown well past the summer, weather permitting. She is hoping until at least the end of October, maybe later.

I'm thinking this thing would be perfect to use as a sleigh to party on during the holidays.

Interested in booking the SuFu Tractor?

You must be at least 21 years old. Every party goer will need to sign a waiver before boarding the tractor. Once you do, put on your party pants and get the party started! Single and group rates are available. Get all that info here.
