No one should have to fight cancer alone. Children shouldn't have to fight cancer at all! But that's not the world we live in. So it's up to all of us to help in the battle for kids' lives.

Waxing the City and Interstate Sales LLC are teaming up to host a fantastic summertime party and concert with proceeds benefiting our local Cure Kids Cancer organization.

You can get involved just by joining the Stomp Cancer Parking Lot Party on Friday, August 4, at The District, starting at noon and giving a free will donation.

There will be free food, inflatables, and games for the kids, as well as an awesome silent auction with all kinds of great items!

Then there will be a free concert with country artist Jeremiah Wheeler. His opening act will be Blake Rave. Doors open at 6 PM.

Waxing the City and Interstate Sales LLC are also holding a 50/50 Raffle. Only 1,000 tickets will be sold at $50 each. The winner could take home up to $25K and the additional $25,000 will be donated to Cure Kids Cancer to support local kids fighting cancer at Sanford Children's Hospital.

The 50/50 Raffle drawing will be held at 8 PM and you do not need to be present to win.

Cure Kids Cancer (CKC) directly helps children and their families dealing with a diagnosis of cancer. They provide meals (dining vouchers), miles (gas vouchers), and lodging - so that these families have one less worry during their journey through this illness.

CKC also helps to fund specialized equipment for our Cure Kids Cancer oncology group hospital, Sanford Children's Hospital. It sends kids with cancer to Camp Bring it On every summer. Funds also support research into better treatments for the disease and hopefully, one day - a cure.

Before this South Dakota State Park was dedicated it had been more than 40 years since South Dakota had a new State Park. And this Sioux Falls green space is a gem!

Good Earth State Park is on the southeast edge of Sioux Falls right on the Iowa / South Dakota border.
