Is the Buffalo Chip Heading To Southern Nevada Soon?

With the start of the 2025 Sturgis Motorcycle Rally just a little over two weeks away, news came out late last week that the legendary Buffalo Chip in Sturgis is branching out.

If you're a rally goer or a longtime resident of South Dakota, you've undoubtedly heard of the Buffalo Chip Campground in Sturgis. It's synonymous with the Sturgis rally.

Every August, the Buffalo Chip is home to the world's largest gathering of music and motorcycle enthusiasts. They all converge on The Chip for 10 days of world-class concerts, top-tier bike shows, legendary motorcycle rides, camping, charity events, freedom celebrations, and a variety of other thrilling events.

The Buffalo Chip is venturing out of South Dakota!

Dakota News Now is reporting that The Buffalo Chip says it’s partnering with Advent Creations for a project in Southern Nevada.

The Chip is planning to construct a 200-room Buffalo Chip Casino Hotel, a barn-themed casino, that will feature a 10,000-seat amphitheater, the live music venue Woody’s Barn, tiny homes, Bikini Beach, and a replica of the Big Engine Bar that can be seen in Sturgis.

According to Dakota News Now, the exact location of this project can not be revealed yet, other than that it will be located somewhere in southern Nevada.

By the sounds of that somewhat vague description, one would have to believe it will be located in or somewhere near Vegas.

In addition to the southern Nevada project, the Buffalo Chip is also planning the release of what they're calling the Sturgis Buffalo Chip Roadhouse. They're describing this venture as a "spirited collection of restaurants and bars."

The goal of the Buffalo Chip Roadhouse project is to bring the same ethos, character, and energy to a variety of towns and cities across America.

No word on when that project is set to get underway.
