South Dakota Officers Asking For Help Finding Deer Killer
South Dakota Conservation Officers are requesting your assistance in finding whoever illegally killed 2 deer.
The Hamlin County Sheriff's Office posted a notice stating that “Within a matter of a week from November 3rd until November 9th, two whitetail bucks have been shot during the nighttime hours within 8 miles of one another along the Hamlin/Kingsbury County line.
The first whitetail buck was shot during the nighttime hours on November 3rd near 196th St and 441st Ave.
The buck was shot in the spine and was paralyzed until the morning hours when it could be dispatched.
The second whitetail buck was shot during the nighttime hours on November 9th near 199th St and 447th Ave.
Both deer were shot off the road out onto private property with rifles and were left to lay.

Also, South Dakota Game Fish &Parks are asking that the sportsmen and residents in these areas to keep an eye out in the upcoming weeks as this time of year sees a spike in illegal night hunting activity.

Any information that leads to the arrest of these individuals is eligible for a reward.
