“This week, the national gas price will drop below $2/gallon for the first time in four years and it won’t stop there as demand for gasoline diminishes as Americans stay home,” said Marilyn Buskohl, AAA spokesperson. “Ten states already have averages at $1.75 or less.”

The average price in Sioux Falls is even lower at $1.85, according to GasBuddy.com. Last week the average price was $1.95. The cheapest gas in town as of this writing can be found at Costco for $1.65 per gallon, the Flying J and Love's truck stops for $1.74, and at Fleet Farm and the Cenex station at 1900 W 12th Street for $1.77 per gallon.
