South Dakota City Bringing Back Curfew Whistle
It's a strong memory for a lot of us from childhood and beyond - the sound of a curfew whistle in whatever town you grew up in.
Now for at least one small South Dakota city that sound is coming back in full force. Dakota News Now is reporting that beginning March 3, Wagner will once again be sounding a whistle at 9:30 PM to signal a 10 PM curfew.

Any minors out after 10 PM without adult supervision will be subject to arrest and could be taken to a detention center. Parents could be fined $200. Violations three or more times could mean the case would be referred to the Charles Mix County State Attorney's Office for further action.
The curfew will be from 10 PM Sunday nights through Friday mornings. The curfew for Friday and Saturday nights will be midnight.
This story brings back the memory of the rush of adrenaline you felt upon hearing that whistle while hanging out with friends as a teenager. How about you?
