You may want to adjust your commute route if it involves one of the busiest intersections in Sioux Falls.

Beginning on Monday, September 16, 2024, lane closures will be in place on West 57th Street between Tennis Lane and Louise Avenue to allow crews to overlay the street.

The location of the lane closures will vary as the work progresses, but at least one lane of traffic in each direction will be maintained at all times.

This work is expected to be completed in about two weeks.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduced speeds while traveling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.
