
Sioux Falls Hit-and-Run Accident Causes Life-Threatening Injuries
Dakota News Now is reporting that an early morning accident has led to two Sioux Falls residents being hospitalized.
Emergency personnel were called to an address near West 3rd and North Elmwood Avenue in Sioux Falls, at 4:11 AM Thursday morning where an SUV had crashed through an apartment building.
The SUV had previously been reported as stolen and the occupants fled after the accident.
A young juvenile resident who had been sleeping in the apartment was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. An adult male also in the apartment had serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was also transported to the hospital.
Alcohol is suspected to be a contributing factor to the crash.
Sioux Falls Police are still searching for the occupants of the SUV.
