Going back to the days of our grandparents parents for some the Sioux Falls YMCA is turning over another leaf.

Over the last few years the Y has seen many changes. Remember when Roy & Bobby's moved into the building?

Well now the YMCA doubles down on its mission to serve the children and youth in Sioux Falls

Officially transitioning its downtown location from a fitness facility to a youth development center effective December 18th.

The re-purposed Downtown YMCA will have programs that include after school, dance, cheer, martial arts, gymnastics, basketball, Pickle Ball, Ga Ga and indoor Wiffle Ball.

Can someone tell me what Ga Ga is?

Plans are also underway for an indoor climbing area and high ropes course.

All children under the age of 18 will enjoy FREE access to the YMCA made possible by support from major donors and the Sioux Empire United Way.
