If you're a fan of those chef competition shows where they pit one talented chef against another, this event is right up your alley. Face It In the Fire is coming up on Thursday, November 6, at The District, and two Sioux Empire chefs have been invited to put their skills and ingenuity on the line in a live winner-takes-all competition.

Well, sort of, anyway. The real winners will be the audience, who will get to sample the chef's creations and delicious foods from 12 other chefs from local standout restaurants. These delightful items could be anything from any food category, including appetizers, main dishes, side dishes, desserts, mocktails, and more.

Guests at this fantastic event not only get to eat some extraordinary food, but they'll also be voting in categories including People's Choice and Best Decor Tablescape awards.

The best thing about this event (besides the food, that is) is that it supports the mission of Face It Together Sioux Falls. This amazing non-profit is an addiction wellness organization that provides "effective, compassionate peer coaching for anyone impacted by alcohol or other drugs."

The coaches at Face It Together have walked in the shoes of their clients and realize that there isn't a "one-size-fits-all program in coaching." They are there to help people reach their wellness goals, whatever they are.
