Participants of all ages from 5 and up are invited to tap into their creativity and engineering skills to design and build boats made entirely out of cardboard and duct tape. No wood, styrofoam, fiberglass, paint, or plastic is allowed.
Life jackets will be provided for contestants, and swimsuits are a must!
From pirate ships to floating tacos, every kind of seaworthy (and not-so-seaworthy) vessel is welcome, but you must register to race.
Whether you're racing or just watching from the pool deck, it will be a day filled with belly laughs, dramatic sinkings, and surprising victories.

This race isn't just about winning—though crossing the finish line without sinking is certainly something to brag about. It's about teamwork, imagination, and good old-fashioned fun.
If you're looking for a day where laughter flows as freely as the water, the cardboard boat race is where you want to be. Just don’t forget your paddle—or your sense of humor!
