Here Are This Year’s Egg-Citing ‘Easter Egg Hunts’ in Sioux Falls

Easter is early this year, Sunday, March 31st. Just like every year, the Sioux Empire will have several Easter-themed activities hopping for you and your family to enjoy.

The Easter party gets started this year with the 10th Annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 23rd at Journey Elementary School at 6801 South Grange Avenue. Starting at 10:00 that morning the Easter Bunny will have hidden more than 4,000 Easter eggs for your kiddos to find. Kids will have a chance to search for special winning eggs for a chance to win one of three bikes that will be given away that day. Plus, word has it, the Easter Bunny himself will be hopping by around 9:40 that morning to take pictures with all the kiddos on hand, so make sure to bring your camera. The event is hosted by Experience Real Estate.

This year Skate City in Sioux Falls is also getting into the Easter Bunny business, they have their big Easter Eggstravaganza planned for Saturday, March 23rd. That party gets started at 10:00 AM with the Easter Bunny handing out plenty of candy, and prizes. Plus, it sounds like he'll be putting on his skates and joining everyone for morning of skating fun.

Dow Rummel Village is having their annual Easter Egg Hunt for kids 12 and under on Saturday morning March 23rd from 9:30 to 10:30. Kiddos can hunt for eggs indoors or outdoors depending on Mother Nature that day.

Sioux Falls First is hosting its Easter Egg Hunt of All Ages for all ages. That event comes up on Saturday, March 30th from 10:00 till Noon at 6300 West 41st Street. Everyone is invited to attend, no matter if you're a baby or 101. One age group at a time will hunt for eggs. Plus, they'll be 6 Golden Eggs hidden per egg-hunting group for a chance to win various prizes.

The Sioux Falls Canaries are hosting their Eggstravaganza on Saturday morning March 30th. This egg-citing event starts at 10:00 that morning. It's an entire day filled with delightful egg hunts, egg-themed facts & fun, animals, story times, photo ops, and endless fun for the whole family! Get ticket information here.
