Riverfest Returns to Downtown Sioux Falls This September!
Summer may be winding down, but there’s still plenty of fun ahead in Downtown Sioux Falls.
Riverfest returns Saturday, September 19, bringing an evening of music, food, family activities and riverfront entertainment to Cherapa Place along the Big Sioux River.
The annual celebration, hosted by Downtown Sioux Falls, runs from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. and is a great way to gather with friends, family and neighbors while enjoying one of the city’s scenic riverfront areas.
Live music will take center stage in the newly upgraded riverside amphitheater.
Visitors can also check out food trucks, local vendors and artists, craft beer, and a Kids Zone featuring hands-on activities and sensory bins.
One popular attraction from DTSF Open Streets will also make an appearance.
Several mini golf holes will be set up at Riverfest, giving visitors another chance to enjoy the fun activity.
And this year, there’s something new for dog lovers: “Paws on the Plaza.”
The special dog fashion show will put local four-legged stars in the spotlight as they show off creative costumes and stylish looks.
Riverfest is more than just an end-of-summer party. It’s also an opportunity to experience Downtown Sioux Falls, support local businesses and artists, and enjoy the Big Sioux River setting.
Admission and additional event details will be announced by Downtown Sioux Falls, Inc. leading up to the event. For updates and info, visit dtsf.com.
