Police have set their sights another suspect connected with last Saturday mornings fatal shooting in downtown Sioux Falls.

KSFY TV is reporting that authorities are also searching for 27-year-old Krista Marie Kruckenberg of Sioux Falls. Kruckenberg is wanted for accessory, obstructing, and concealing evidence in the death of 37-year-old Benjamin Donahue III.

According to KSFY, Kruckenberg arrived at the scene of the crime together, with the shooting suspect 36-year-old Max Bolden. The arrest affidavit states that Bolden and Donahue III got into an argument around 1:00 AM on Saturday (October 26) outside Club David on West 10th Street. At one point during the confrontation, Bolden stood face-to-face with Donahue and shot him in the head. Donahue III fell to the ground, and Bolden shot him yet again.

The police affidavit says that Kruckenberg stood about five feet away during the shooting. She then immediately left the scene of the homicide with Bolden in a White Ford Explorer. Kruckenberg has also been accused of calling another witness to the crime and urging that person not say anything about the shooting.

KSFY reports that investigators met with Kruckenberg on Sunday (October 27) at the Law Enforcement Center. During the meeting, the suspect denied Bolden had shot Donahue. Even after authorities showed Kruckenberg surveillance video from a nearby camera.
